Indo - Canadian Cancer Research Foundation (ICCRF)Frost partners with Aidmatrix to support the cause of cancer with ICCRF
Frost International Ltd. has entered into a long term formidable alliance with Aidmatrix (www.aidmatrix.org) to support various social causes that the organization works on. As its first endeavour with Aid Matrix, Frost is contributing towards the The Indo-Canadian Cancer Research Foundation (ICRRF) which was established in 2007 to create awareness about Cancer amongst people, particularly young people around the world, using the legend of Terry Fox , a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist, as inspiration to not only create cancer awareness but also to motivate people to participate in creating further awareness and to help raise funds for supporting research for potential cures.
Frosts contributions will be used towards the treatment of a 25 year old female who is suffering from B cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (B-ALL) – A type of blood cancer.
Until four years ago she was living a normal life that any young girl on verge of womanhood lives, studying to be a Chartered Accountant, dreams of supporting her family and maybe have a family of her own, one day. Just when she was about to take the step into a professional world that she was diagnosed with Blood Cancer. Her dreams came crashing down. She is a young, promising girl, who certainly would pursue her career as a chartered accountant and live a normal life, given the chance of her transplant being funded. She can be productive member of the society and give something back to the society.
To support the promising girl and spread awareness, the Harley Davidson Owners' Group (HOG) -Delhi Chapter Ride was organized at The Canadian High Commission on 17 Nov 2013 to make a contribution that can be life changing for many. Ankush Wadhera, President Projects at Frost is an active member of the Delhi HOG Chapter. Frost International Ltd. was a cosponsor of the event. The coming together of Aidmatrix Foundation, ICCRF and the High Commission of Canada is what has created the conviction in Frost for this noble intent getting converted into effective action . Frost International Limited is very happy to be associated with the cause and this event has been the beginning of a very long relationship with Aidmatrix Foundation and ICCRF.
This endeavour is also supported by the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi and 'YouWeCan', an initiative of Yuvraj Singh Foundation , that aims to generate extensive awareness for cancer as a major life-threatening disease and to save as many lives by creating consciousness for early detection.

Zaz TanneryZaz Tannery became part of the Frost International family with its acquisition in 2011. A sick unit at the time, Zaz Tannery received significant funding and management support in order to accomplish its purpose. Today, as a subsidiary of Frost International, Zaz Tannery produces leather based safety shoes that are used by people across the country in industrial areas. Additionally, the tannery supplies its products to third party vendors, who in turn supply these steel-toe shoes to the Indian Army, among other customers. Future plans for the tannery include evaluation and foray into international markets where construction laws and regulations mandate the use of products that are the forte of Zaz Tannery.
Coal Mining (Meghalaya)Frost International has leased a one km stretch of land for a period of 30 years at Khasi Hills in the Eastern Indian state of Meghalaya, and has also constructed road connectivity to facilitate the mining and transportation of coal. Owing to the location and distance of the mines, it is not economically viable to transport and consume the high quality coal within the country.
Coal mined from the open pit mines is transported via Frost International's own trucks, for export and onward delivery and consumption by power plants and other users in Bangladesh.
